Illustration Friday – Stitch

This piece, entitled "Unattainable," ended up reminding me of a quilt. Can't say that I start out with that intent, but there you have it. Must have been subliminal from all the quilting my grandmothers did - such a beautiful art form. Happy stitching!

Very good piece! I thought maybe you were channeling Gustav Klimt but am tickled to hear it was your Grandmother who was the inspiration.

Thanks for looking! It is a bit Klimt-like, isn't it? Have to give my grandmother credit though.
