IF – Impossibility

There were so many ways to go with this week's topic...I decided to use a piece that I finished several months ago and haven't really done anything with. It's called A Place to Call Home - and I started thinking what an impossibility it is for those who have no place to live, to even imagine having a house, an apartment, a room. And how very blessed we are to have a nice, safe place to live that we call home.

Very nice! I love the color - autumn is my favorite season and my favorite color scheme! So rich. And, yes, this is a good reminder of how blessed we are.

Stunning! I love the warm colors, and the way the house seems to be protected, well sheltered. Beautiful piece. You are right. We are blessed and lucky, and my heart goes to those families living in their cars or with no place to go.

I love the way you work out all the details and the rich colors without ever overdoing either. This is a wonderful piece!

Nice sentiment. The drawing is lovely and is in a pattern but one that isn't so obvious. It is very well balanced. Makes me think of "autumn."

This is beautiful. And I like how you point out that what one person takes for granted is an impossibility for another. Or perhaps how the impossible is actually attainable given a change in circumstances.
