IF – Impossibility
There were so many ways to go with this week's topic...I decided to use a piece that I finished several months ago and haven't really done anything with. It's called A Place to Call Home - and I started thinking what an impossibility it is for those who have no place to live, to even imagine having a house, an apartment, a room. And how very blessed we are to have a nice, safe place to live that we call home.

Yes we are blessed. Thanks for the reminder and for the beautiful illustration! Thanks for stopping by.
Very nice! I love the color - autumn is my favorite season and my favorite color scheme! So rich. And, yes, this is a good reminder of how blessed we are.
Stunning! I love the warm colors, and the way the house seems to be protected, well sheltered. Beautiful piece. You are right. We are blessed and lucky, and my heart goes to those families living in their cars or with no place to go.
Love your trees! Thanks for your kind words on my blog.

I love the way you work out all the details and the rich colors without ever overdoing either. This is a wonderful piece!
oh this is so true, I love how you made the trees take on the house shape too, and the fall colors are so warm and cozy
Oh my gosh Valerie. The colors are jumping off this painting. I love it very much. Autumn foliage is one of my favorite things.
Wonderful! I like how the trees seem to protect the house.
The trees enveloping the house seems so cozy. Nice!

You are so right, we don't know how blessed we are, great illo.
Nice sentiment. The drawing is lovely and is in a pattern but one that isn't so obvious. It is very well balanced. Makes me think of "autumn."
Love the colours, it is a very lovely drawing.

This is beautiful. And I like how you point out that what one person takes for granted is an impossibility for another. Or perhaps how the impossible is actually attainable given a change in circumstances.
thank you valerie for your comment!
i love your illo.
