Illustration Friday – Adrift
This piece, Waiting for the Flood, but seems to fit the theme this week. Bad fortune seems to follow some people around naturally. Is it something they invite by their state of mind or just bad luck? It somehow seems to set them adrift on their journey as they wait for the next disaster to hit.

this is wondeful- love all the textures in it!
I really like the patterns you've created--especially in the boat. I love the detail and the colors!
wow! look at all the details! Beautiful color palette as well!
Beautiful! I am a big fan of pattern, and your's are so perfect I first thought it was collaged papers or fabrics. Just marvelous.
Unfortunately, I also feel like sometimes we just go around waiting for the next disaster.
I like your drawings a lot! Very nice,
Love the basket weave pattern boat and all the colorful little details.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Love the mosaic boat, the tall trees, the women who stand as tall as the trees.... Perhaps they expect bad fortune, but at least they look good doing it. :)
This piece has the look of a beautiful quilt. Enjoyed looking a at your work!
