Illustration Friday – Spent
"She spent all her money on seeds, so that the world could grow peace one seed at a time." I started working on this piece a few weeks ago for my home show in November and just finished it Friday. I couldn't resist tying in the Illustration Friday theme of Spent. It may be a far reach, but I love the message, especially of late.

A nicely done illustration that carries a thought provoking idea.
Lovely patterns !
I love this! I've been doing zentangles, and these remind me of those kinds of patterns, with the addition of wonderful colors...
Great message Valerie... and just as great design! NICE!
Beautiful as always Valerie. Love the sentiment too.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! I wasn't familiar with the word zentangle - so glad you mentioned it because my work all along has had elements of it in there. Especially the early ink pieces I did. Can't wait to look at zentangle artists on the web!
The patterns are beautiful, and the message too! :)
oh this is so pretty. I love the designs and feel.
Gorgeous patterns and lines! Oooh, that's an eyeful of beauty, and I LOVE the message.
A home show! I hope you had a fantastic event!!!
